Article description: (description)This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | 2017년 4월 4일 오후 10시 한국외국어대학교 학생 독립 언론인 외대알리에서 처음 보도되었다.[1] 신원미상의 남성이 낮 2시부터 오후 8시경까지 6시간 동안 도서관 인근에서 불특정 다수의 여학생에게 물과 콜라를 뿌려, 신고를 받고 출동한 경찰을 피해 6시간 동안 학교 내에서 도주하다가 외대 남학생 2명이 붙잡혀 경찰에 인계되었다. 피의자는 경찰조사에서 "여학생들이 공부는 안하고 밖으로 돌아다녀 기분이 나빴다"고 범행 이유를 진술하였다.[2] 불특정 다수의 여성만을 범행 타깃으로 삼았으며 범행 이유가 '여성이 감히 -했다'이므로 전형적인 여성혐오 범죄이다. 염산과 같은 독극물을 살포한 것은 아니었지만 불특정 다수의 여성에 대한 비뚤어진 관념을 실제 행동에 옮겼다는 점에서 여성혐오가 일상 생활에서 여성에게 얼마나 위협이 될 수 있는지 살펴볼 수 있는 사례이다. |
