1988년 6월 23일~8월 30일 뉴욕현대미술관(MoMA) 에서 필립 존슨과 "건축 해체' 전시회 기획. 참여한 건축가는 Peter Eisenman , Frank Gehry , Zaha Hadid , Rem Koolhaas ,Daniel Libeskind , Bernard Tschumi 및 Coop Himmelblau(Wolf Prix)로, 해체주의 철학을 건축의 포스트모더니즘으로 구현했다.

건축가의 역할은 건물을 고객 요구대로 정확하게 만들어주는 것이 아니라 요청받은 아이디어를 변화시키는 것이다.
